Role

Kohtaroh Tanaka has handled all of OLI's Business Operations in Japan since 1996. Since 2001 Kohtaroh, and his company Simtech, have been in charge of business operations in East, Southeast, and South Asia as well.

 

Accomplishments

When Kohtaroh started to represent OLI in Japan back in 1996, OLI had just one customer in Japan (and none in the rest of Asia). Today there are more than 30 customer sites in Japan alone and East, Southeast, and South Asia accounts for about 15% of OLI's total software sales.
 

Kohtaroh has a strong background in chemical/process engineering with a wide range of expertise and experience in process modeling and simulation. Among his extraordinary accomplishments has been to establish OLI's corrosion technology and software as an important tool for Japanese corrosion engineers.
