Need help with ScaleChem?
Starting with a new software package can be challenging, especially when it represents a new field of expertise (electrolyte chemistry). We can help you get started! With a 1-hour, web-based application assessment, we can show you how to setup your water samples in ScaleChem and prepare a PIPESIM PVT File for analysis. If you would like further assistance, we can also offer application building and review of your ScaleChem file.
Interested clients will need a license to PIPESIM (from Schlumberger (SLB)) and a license to Studio: ScaleChem from OLI.
For Studio: ScaleChem clients, please also request the OLI Engine: PIPESIM PVT File from OLI.
To use this Alliance Product, at least a representative brine analysis must be entered into ScaleChem, with as much other information about the gas / hydrocarbon composition as is available. Clients then use a facility within Studio ScaleChem to generate a PIPESIM PVT File that can be read by PIPESIM.
Output includes valuable scale appearance and disappearance lines along the pipeline.
