OLI licenses

Add another member to your staff - OLI!

OLI typically offers software leases to our clients. A lease can be for one or more OLI software components. OLI's standard lease length is 3 years. However, OLI will also sell shorter or longer term leases, based on our clients' needs.

OLI components include OLI's standalone products as well as our joint products with our Alliance Partners, and the OLI Engine: Developer Edition which permits clients to interface to OLI using a programmable interface. Pricing is additive and several OLI components can be licensed from a single individual or network license.

OLI leases come with full telephone and email support. OLI's Technical Support team staffs this facility from the USA, Eastern time zone business hours.

University licenses

At the heart of OLI's mission is furthering the electrolyte science.  OLI does this by offering special university pricing for both education and academic research.  Self-guided training material prepared by OLI's sales partner AQSim is available for use in academic curriculum.  OLI's Alliance Partner products may also be licensed this way.

Software releases

OLI uses an incremental build model in software development, and offers frequent minor releases to the OLI software which can be accessed by going to the OLI downloads area on the website. If you have a valid serial number for OLI software, your serial number will automatically allow a download to the latest build. If you are using a network license, you will need the network serial number to download the software.

Extending the OLI databank chemistry

When a client's chemistry is not fully developed within the OLI databanks, OLI offers a service to give priority treatment to adding that chemistry in exchange for 50% co-funding. OLI will also work with clients on a proprietary basis for extensions to the OLI databank, based on a company's proprietary data. Clients who would like to extend the parameters of the OLI databanks on their own are advised to first take a three-day class at OLI entitled MSE Regressions.
